Enlightenment is a new philosophy in Window Managers. The premise
is simple enough- complete control. AfterStep & WindowMaker both
look good, but when it comes right down to it, they are still just TWM derivatives.
E allows complete control. If you put effort into learning the config system (which someday
will be automated) you will discover that this WM allows you to truly do whatever you want.
If you can create an image, you can make your WM look like it.
So what you see here is my latest attempt to ignore Real Life and write
stupid programs. It is an attempt to consolidate my vast array of
Afterstep/WindowMaker docklets into a single, fully configurable program.
The image above shows off ePlus's WaveForm display (Available in DR5 and
based mostly on Raster's very cool Wayve program)
and CD Player.

The image below shows the clock module (all the features from eClock
have moved into this code, the load module, the mixer module, and
of course the netdev module (blinky lights... so hypnotic)
You also see the CD Changer, and the new FS Monitor which
joins the roster in DR7.
Everything is fully customizable from size, to shape to location to
which modules you load (defined at compile or run time)
with config file structure virtually identical to E itself.

After the positive response that Flaunt got, I had no choice but to
start over and try to top myself. The result is Obsidian.
My new theme is currently under construction- the screenshot you
see here is from a version that is about 2/3rds complete.
Once again, 1600x1200 is the target resolution, but this time around,
scaling it back should be much easier for the brave of heart.
My inspirations here was a cool sequence in Star Trek II and 2001. My
lovely girlfriend Jessica pushed pretty hard in a lot of ways that really made
this much better than it might of been.
Obsidian 1600x1200 DR12 My Original Version
Send me other versions and I'll post them here! Please
don't redistribute Obsidian elsewhere- send them here so
they get the latest version.
ePlus currently ships with a default theme designed for Obsidian. If
you like Obsidian, you'll love ePlus!
What you see here is flaunt- my first Enlightenment theme. The
package is a compete replacement of the standard E look & feel, and
fully takes advantage of all of DR11's great new features.
The real catch is that Flaunt was designed for my monitor- and at
1600x1200 it sure looks good. Inferior resolutions should use at
their own risk. Other versions are available- but I can't be
held responsible- please don't e-mail about them.
FLAUNT 1600 DR12 The Original created by me.
Note that my DR12 Flaunt comes configured to use Eclock and a hacked
asmodem, so consider it a work in progress.

Get v0.2.
eClock Users:My intent is that ePlus shall replace eClock. You
should probably consider this a dead program- ePlus has all the features
of eClock- plus many more.
